step 1. Go to ServiceOnlineBihar.gov.in and register yourself. After registration, you will get a User ID and Password.
Now you log in with the same User ID and Password.

Step #2. After logging in, you have to click on View All Available Service in Apply for Services.
Now a list of all the services will come in front of you, in which you have to search Economically and click on Issuance of Economically Weaker Section Certificate at CO level

Step #3. Now the EWS Certificate Apply Form (Application form for the certificate of Economically Weaker Section) will open in front of you.
Here, first of all, you have to choose your link and greeting, after that, you have to enter your name, date of birth, and Aadhar card number.

Step #4. Next, you have to fill your residential address in the state, district, sub-division, block, village, etc.
If you are from the city then you can select Nagar Panchayat.

Step #5. After this, you have to select your caste below and after entering the name of father, mother, you will have to enter your mobile number and email id.
After that, you will have to upload a photo by putting the total family income less than 8 lakhs.

Step #6. After uploading the photo, finally, you have to submit by filling the captcha below by ticking I Agree. As in the photo below.
As soon as you submit, an OTP will come on the mobile number linked in your Aadhaar, which you have to verify.
After the OTP is verified, your complete form will open in front of you. After mixing all the details you have filled in correctly, in the end, you have to click on the submit button again.

Step #7. Your application will be completed as soon as you submit it again and you will get to see a receipt. You have to keep it safe with you by taking out its screenshot or printout.

After 15 days a message will come on your mobile and email in which you will be written that your EWS certificate has been created.
This certificate can also come in the form of a pdf on your email id. You can easily download and take a printout of it and use it.

The validity of the EWS certificate varies from state to state. Somewhere its validity is of 1 year and somewhere it is 6 months.
