The Black Smiths lost their both match played against Academic – MU Sofia on day 1 of ECS T10 League, Bularia. In the first match BS lost to MUS by 29 runs in the 5 overs match and in the second match after given target of 107 runs to chase, BS were able to make only 73 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Salman Khan, Jakob Gul were not able to start off well for the team in the match against MUS. Their failure in the last match will be setback for the team but they need to put a crucial stand with bat in the opening position in this upcoming match PLE.

Waleed Khan was superb with the bowling in the last match against MUS. He picked 4 wickets in the 2 overs. He is likely to make the roads tough for PLE team’s batsmen.

VTU-MU Pleven too were not off the right track in their first two matches and they got a demotivational start after losing their first two matches against BSCU – MU Plovdiv. PLE team was not able to chase a decent target of 73 runs in the first match. In the 2nd match they put a tough fight while 102 runs but were unlucky as they fell short by just 2 runs.

Opener Mukul Kadyan put a big stand with Nithin Sunil for the first wicket. These two batsmen made 46 and 16 runs respectively. The power hitting of these two batsmen in the last match exhibited that these two are very destructive batsmen.

Akshay Harikumar also supported the openers in the chase of 102 runs and he made 26 runs. With these batsmen in the side, PLE team’s batting looks in safe hands.
